Are Drill Sergeants in your face as much when you're in OCS and TBS compared to Basic Training?

What are OCS and The Basic School like? Can I move my family with me while I'm training at The Basic School?

OCS and TBS are very different and very smilier at the same time. The DI/DS will be in your face to start, and then later will start to back off. They want to get you used to the military life style and mentality, then they want you to learn and think on your own. In TBS you'll be treated more like an officer, but you still need to humble yourself before the task at hand. Your there to learn from the NCO's so just pay attention. As for moving your family in TBS, it really depends, most of the time yes, but there are some exceptions. You'll have to talk to your command and they will tell you what you need to know.

The instructors will be in your face more than Drill Sergeants at Basic Training, but they will back off as your group starts to catch on. Basic Training is turning into a joke, the Drill Sergeants get in trouble for swearing and have to stay an arms length away or more. I'm glad I take my Campaign hat off in 17 days.
