No, they lack strong leadership, discrimination and moral conscience... there are way too many unfortunate 'accidents' involving children, women and journalists to simply ignore - we are talking about thousands of civilian casualties!!

As a soldier you have a responsibility to pick your targets - as a disciplined and educated individual you have a moral duty to exercise it... you DON'T shoot kids who are throwing stones - not in Israel, Iraq or anywhere else.

In Israels case the numbers of civilians, photographers and journalists speak for themselves - there is no comparison in any other theatre. While Israel officially says it operates 'surgically' there is absolutely no comparison with more successful counter insurgency operations such as Borneo (0 civilian casualties) or Northern Ireland (a few dozen accounted for by the British Army)...

The facts speak for themselves.

I will bet you have never read the Geneva Conventions.

I challenge you to find a passage in that document that say's age is a determining factor in returning fire.

That a Church or Hospital can never be fired on.

That belligerents involved in combat in country A involved in armed conflict with country B and NOT citizens of country A, nor members of it's Armed Forces and not in uniform are entitled to POW status.

That a citizen of country A must wear a uniform to defend his homeland.

I can go on like this for a long time just of the top.

Try reading the documents and then make your complaints.

Unlikely. Israel is a signatory to most international treaties barring the use of child soldiers or the practice of human rights violations such as murdering children. While that undoubtedly happens in the Israel/Palestine conflict, it's almost certainly not because Israel trains its troops to fire on children specifically.
