Of course your allowed to, but do you have to ask or something? Or do you just get up as you please and go? I feel completely retarded asking this lol.

Not stupid...some people are afraid to get up and go the first night or two. As one of the other posters stated, you'll get up, put on your shower shoes and go...you may have to take a specific route....we had one walkway in and out of our bay so we didn't have to buff the floor as much. |

Yes u can use the bathroom in the middle of the night, but u must inform the fireguard that u r going, because Drill sergeants sometimes do a count in the middle of the night, amd if ur not in ur bunk, and the fireguard has no idea where u are, then u and the fireguard will be doin pushups lol. its a prevention method for soldiers going awol. |

yes, and as much as they require you to drink all day long, it will happen often during the night. |

Not a stupid question at all. You get up and you slip on your shower shoes and you go to the latrine. If you pass a DS or fire guard along the way, you tell them you are going to the latrine. If you don't pass them, you don't go looking for them. Do your business and get back to bed. If a DS or fire guard does a head count in the few minutes you are gone, the DS or fire guard will check the latrine if he is short on head count. |

Yes, you are allowed to use the latrine, you must tell the fire guard or who ever is on guard at the time. If you do not when the DS comes in to do a count and he is short, every one will wake up and stand there untill the person shows back up. |

Just playing with ya. Yeah, you will be able to. You will have fire guards, but there should be at least one fireguard roaming at all times, so she should know you're in the latrine. And before anyone even thinks about calling out awol, they will check the latrines. We didn't get in trouble during these times, just got yelled at to hurry "the hell up." I went to a combat post for basic training, and considering you're a woman, I'm guessing your basic training will be a little more leniant on things such as this. |
