I recently saw the film "The Hunted" with Tommy Lee Jones about a Special Forces member that went crazy. He was depicted as an awesome hand-to-hand fighter especially with knives. And in the Bourne Identity movies the main character is shown doing all kinds of amazing hand-to-hand maneuvers. I realize that many soldiers are well trained, but are they really trained to this level? If so, who are they (which agency/unit) and what kind of training do they receive?

Ah Hollywood, And because we grew up far from a military Base my brothers thought I was Rambo when I was home on leave. I always allowed them to believe what they wanted without making any comment.
I wished it was as easy as Hollywood makes it out to be. They do not exist

You have never heard of Army Ranger, Delta Force, Airborne, Navy SEALS, Marine Force Recon? And I have no clue what training they get. But yeah, they exist. |

nope but some people come close. try the monastery in shanghai. the monks there are pretty good at shanghai kung fu. They can kill you easily. also try the british sas or u.s. army. to get in you have to run 10 miles with all your 45lb gear on your back in 1 hr45 min |
