Army M16 in basic training?

Army M16 in basic training?

I went shooting an AR 15 and a 9mm baretta. They both hurt to shoot and are very load. I haven't shot any guns until yesterday and was wondering does the pain go away or how do you get it not to hurt?
i leave for basic training in a little while.

M16 has almost no re-coil, I could put the A2 model on burst, put the butt of the weapon on my crotch and unload a magazine with out feeling any pain, you have nothing to worry about.
