it is not very common that reserves and national guard get the opportunity to attend airborne school. with NG it depends on whether your state wants to fork out the money to keep you on active duty for those additional 3 weeks. You should see an airborne school liason while at AIT, he will be the one to tell you if it is a possibility. Another option is that if you have not signed up yet is to put it in your enlistment contract, again if it is a possibility. when I went it was about half active army and the rest were westpoint cadets. give it a try and good luck!

There are no 11C's in the Army reserves.

Reserves have no combat mos's

Only the National Guard has combat mos's

Reserves are all support units.

Anyone can have airborne school in thier enlistment contract,

That just makes you a 5 jump chump who will never jump again.
