Army bootcamp question?

Ok me and my friend our joining the army i live in NC and he lives in NJ is their a way that we could go to boot camp.

I wanna know because it would be nice to know someone whos there.

well when i went to meps they asked me what specific day and place i would like to ship out to if they had spots available. after basic they will ship you to another place specifically for your ait depending on your mos personally i chose Fort Benning July 28 and since i'm going 11c i will stay at Benning. maybe if you're lucky both of you could sign to the same place at the same time, but definitely talk to recruiter and don't get your hopes up.

If you join the same MOS, and you both talk to the same recruiter about what you want to do...

After that, who knows where you both could go...

You would have to go in to recruiting office together as far as I know, ask your recruiter for more details he will be able to help you out, I know they used to do that but I dont know if they still do, good luck

YES U CAN WHEN I CAME ON BACK IN 01' IN CALI ME AND A BUDDY OF MINE CAME IN TOGETHER WE HAD TO PICK THE SAME JOB AND THE SAME DUTY STATION THATS THE ONLY CATCH TO IT BUT IT IS POSSIBLE AND DOES MAKE IT ALOT BETTER HAVING SOMEONE THERE...GOOD LUCK

It might happen, but honestly, the army doesn't care about sending you and you're friend to the same basic training; nor do they care about you knowing anyone there.

Sorry but that's just how the army is.
