Marines... for the dress blues and the tattoos. Join the Army, and you' regret not joining the Marines. Join the Marines and you'll NEVER regret not joining the Army. Think about it.
I almost joined the Army instead of the Marines because they were guaranteeing me a fat sign-on bonus. Life-long pride was more appealing to me though |

Marines are the more respected and have the best traditions, but army offers more job paths, so it depends.... are you going in to get job training(army), or look cool in a uniform, anf be respected(marines) |

Im a Sgt. in the Army, deployed right now in Kuwait. I would pick Army over the Marines- just more and better opportunites.
Just dont go Air Force, it is similar to a membership in a pansie gentlemans organization for wimps. |

We all have a different standard of what is BETTER!! I am obviosly biased. But I do know there is a brotherhood of the Marine Corp that you will not find in the Army. Marines are hardcore heroes. My best advice is to personally talk to an army guy and then a Marine and see what appeals to you more. Marines are a different breed of human. If you want an easier boot camp and a longer deployment to iraq... and a better signing bonus join the army. Oohrah.
Hope you are tough enough for the Corp! |

I served in the Army Signal Corp in electronics. The Army has more options. See your recruiter :) |

Marine Corps, for all the reasons stated above and these,
dress blues
better shape
drill instructors
amphibious
you and the navy win battles all by yourself
call in the army to hold the ground you just won
get to go fight again cuz army just lost said ground
EGA
Army guys get called soldiers, Marines get called well....Marines
and so on, and so on. |

stan..all ur doing is bringing up a fight between army/marine supporters
there is no better branch they both have their own jobs
marines are old fashioned hard core fighters. theyre also a branch from the navy and usually take the initiative in invasions
the army relies off technology in their fights..which is why ull see them using UAVs and GPS and such |

actually the choice is up to you, go to the recruiters and see what each has to offer. I think there are more job opportunities in the army. But your best bet is do research on both, talk to each of the recruiters and see which one is best for you. |

My dad is a marine and I grew up around the marine corps so I like the marine corps the best (also enlisting soon). but I also talk to an Army recruiter and army has many benefits and more jobs. I say you talk to the army and marine recruiters and see which fits you the best. |

If you mean the British Royal Marines, they are way better. |

Neither. I would recommend the Navy or the Air Force. Both of these branches offer better choices of technical training and work experience that will prepare you for a better career when you eventually decide to return to civilian life. |
