As America celebrates it's 234th Birthday what are you most thankful for today?

freedom of speech -> No matter how much I complain and others try and shut me up, at least I can say what I feel. In many other countries it would simply not be possible.

For the many freedoms we are blessed to have and for our soldiers who have sacrificed a lot as well to keep these freedoms alive.

I am thankful for the freedom to come on here, put what avatar and username I want

the freedom to express myself, the freedom to go where I want, the freedom for culture,
and the freedom to be myself

and I am also thankful for family, friends and my contacts on here

That no one is in my backyard shooting at me with an RPG or an AK-47...or being under German/Japanese rule, speaking German/Japanese, being able to say what I want when I want it without some crazy ayatollah branding me an enemy of the state for speaking the truth, having food on my plate right now as I bite down on this burger...

I'm just Thankful that the USA is the LAND OF THE FREE, AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE :)

Agreed. One of the Founding Fathers said "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty." Our freedoms are kept only because we are willing to fight for them. People like the Taliban are offended by our freedoms and are willing to send their brainwashed clones against our troops with suicide vests.
The Russian spies arrested this week show that our old enemies aren't gone either. As long as they are around, Moose and Squirrel will be on call to defend us.

i'm thankful for everything i have in my life and glad that i was born in this country rather than a third world country. i'm thankful for my wonderful parents, and i'm thankful for my education, but of course most of all i'm thankful for our troops who sacrifice so much to fight for our country.

Happy 4th to all!

That Americans are still smart enough to figure out that someone like Barrack Obama was a mistake and will be a one term President.

I am thankful that that step in human evolution occurred, the bourgeois revolution that is, and cannot wait for the proletariat revolution to take place
