I fear walking into a smelly pile of camel ****. A Soldier should be prepared for death. The warrior that is ready to die, the one that has accepted that possibility. That is the warrior to be feared. For death is nothing more than a duty, an inevitable fate that awaits. Death neither frightens him, nor occupies his thoughts. |

Getting killed and leaving a wife without husband, a mother without a son, a father with out a son and leaving my 3 kids without a father.

My experience goes back to when the Vietnam War was hot, but my biggest fear was running out of ammo. I took as much as they'd let me carry. I had bandoleers around me six ways from Sunday. I looked like a damned Mexican bandito, but I wasn't running out of ammo! |
