At what point of the body do you measure from to get a Pace Stick made to size?

I understand its from the ball joint of the hip to the floor?
From the top of my hip bone to the floor is exactely 40"
But I've already ordered a 39"
Does it matter if it's 1 Inch out?
I am 5 foot 9 and a half, but have heard that 38" should fit someone of about 6 foot.
Should 39" be ok?

The top of your stick should be in line with your hip bone or the top of your thigh, when it is paralell with the ground. It obviously won't effect the pace coz it's 30 inches! However you will find you have to lean slightly when using it. Particularly if tyou try to use it for competitions etc. If like mine it sits under your arm when iot actually makes a guest appearance these days then you should have no worries. |

If you point your pace stick to the ground and hold it on the ground, your right arm will hold the top of it at below waist height.
I think your pace stick needs to be approx half your own height. |
