Back From Iraq?

I hear you, I just got back from my second year long tour and getting tired of hearing people that haven been to Iraq telling me what they would different or that it's a waste and that just pisses me off cause they're saying that my soldiers died in vane and I cant exept that.

I support you fully! Don't worry, while the masses seem to be mindlessly believing what the media tells them to there are still people out there that respect and admire your service to this great country. My opinion, they're cowards, if men like you did'nt keep them free they would not be. Then they have the nerve to complain about it. It is truly a great thing that some people as yourself understand that some things are greater than our own personal safety.

I am sure that you know more about what is going on in Iraq than the idiots in the streets protesting the work you have been doing. Walk Proud! You've shown that you're a capable human being. Unfortunately, here in the US, the peacenik disease is on the loose. The wasted Hollywood celebrities are leading the country again.

I sure do not believe that anyone has the right to harass veterans, but they're starting to do it again. Just be forewarned. I'd like the right to slap those slobbering rude people who think their greatest right is to whine about peace,
when they are so ignorant of life.

Thanks for your service, a million times over, thanks!!! My nephew should be out of Ramadi soon. Others will still be serving there, until these fools cut off the funding, like they did in Vietnam. The US military did not lose the war in Vietnam, the Democrat congress cut the funding for the South Vietnamese government and allowed our allies to be butchered.

Welcome home, hold your head up and be proud. You made a choice to serve your country and to some ppl that`s like choosing a career in murder. They just don`t understand that the military is about more than fighting, it`s also about saving lives and helping to rebuild what has been destroyed. Don`t let the protesters get you down, if they knew what they were talking about, they would come up to you and thank you for serving our country. Semper Fi, Marine.

Thank you for serving and God bless you. Please understand that there are plenty of Americans out there who support you and what you do. Some Americans have short memories and also believe that everything should be resolved quickly, just like it is on TV. Life doesn't work that way.

Yes, Bush is low in the poll ratings. But those ratings measure Bush's handling of the war, not necessarily the war itself.

THANK YOU for your service Sir, & Welcome Home. .....i am so very sorry to see what some people are saying & doing, & it seems that the media & the press play up all the negativity & downplay (or don't even report) anything that is positive. I realize things are really ruff over there (we've got a couple of friends that have rotated twice now)....& while they have told us about how the kids can go to school & getting street markets open in certain areas, the radicals, & insurgents & deaths squads are reeking havoc *(of course that is the headlines)....Be proud of yourself & your service to this Great Country...... I am very proud of my family that has served this country, & had many family members that served in Vietnam & Korea, both were unpopular & had many dissenting opinions. Don't let it get you down. Again, THANK YOU SIR for your sacrifice, the sacrifice of your family & your comrades, it is now as it has been since the creation of this country....during times of crisis, when our country is in need, it is those who step forward and answer the call of duty, no matter how difficult - it is those that make this country what it is - i hope & pray that we never forget that. Our country owes you a debt of gratitude that can never be truly paid in full......God Bless You Sir.

Lordie...don't come to Yahoo Answers for support! The first thing you should be doing when returning from Iraq is going to Disneyland!!!

Now no one is going to support you with that mouth or that attitude. I expect more out of a serviceman!!!

Also, my husband is in Iraq and I have never heard him speak like you. He doesn't give a rat's butt what anyone thinks about him or what he is doing! He is proud of himself and I am of him and that's all that matters!

Well I'll tell you why, because as far as it sounds Bush hasn't done anything good for this country since he entered office and not too long ago he asks for more money to support the war as far as the United States is concerned there are wayy more things to worry about in this world other then WAR! Therefore there is nothing wrong with us! There is something wrong with you for going out there and fighting! Plus we're sick of people going out there and just killing innocent people besides the terroist and plus Sadam Hussein is dead why the hell are we still out there?!!?!?
