Bankruptcy in the canadian miltary?

I would like to join the canadian military full time. I have just been discharged from bankruptcy last month after being in bankruptcy for 9 months. I am now discharged from bankruptcy but bankruptcy is on your credit report for 7 years although now allmy other debts are gone. can i still join the military full time or am do i have to wait the seven years. I have called the recruiting office and i have been given different answers from everyone who ive spoke to in the office. some more accurate help would be appreciated!

I agree with the first poster, you need to speak to a recruitment expert. They may give you different answers over the phone, but believe me, once you go down there in person and fill out all their aptitude tests, they'll either offer you a job or not. Once someone says yes and you fill out the paperwork, then that's your answer.
