Im going this summer. Im doing the split option program since I am only 17, can anyone tell me some stuff what it will be like?? How are the groups divided with guys and girls?

Good for you! I am right next to Fort Jackson, and my high school friend from Oklahoma went through basic there when she was like 35! She didn't have any problems, and from what she said, everyone was really into it. I wasn't sure she would make it all the way through, but she did! Way to go! |

If you put all your available effort into doing the best that you can do, it should be alright. I just want to say that training is not for making romantic relationships. It detracts from the mission, which is making new Soldiers. |

i went to ft Jackson last July...a lot depends on what unit your in iwas in 2/39 and it was nice and we were treated well but i know people that went to other units and had a rougher time things were stricter guys and girls were only separated for sleeping and showering other than o that you do everything together its fun and its a great experience just do what your told with out any question and youll be fine |

so far terrible is what i can say. my son is there and he does not like it. it can be a great experience, so if you really want to go, i say go. but if you have any doubts about going, then you should really think about it before doing it. Think about it !!!! |
