I am wondering what the pipeline is? What are the required courses to take for specialty in demolitions and counter terrorism?

you apply to the SAS and if you can pass their selection only then will they chose, they dont randomly pick one person and say here your in!!

By asking the question, it appears to me that you are not the 'right stuff' for The Regiment. The pipeline was a minimum of 2yrs with another Unit. You could then opt for Selection at which you were given two cracks of the whip. If you failed to pass on both occasions, you would be RTU'd

With regards to the fitness levels required, when I was in the Army, we underwent part of the SAS selection just as an exercise. Out of 30, 2 lads completed in the times alloted.

Hi basically what you have to do is join the british army & if you do well in the regiment your in you can apply to do the sas course & if you are succesful in passing the course then you will be taught in the speciality of demolitions & counter terrorism but to join the sas not only have you got to be fully fit you have to be mentally fit aswell its not an easy regiment to get into as my mate was in the parachute regiment & he went on the course but unfortunately he didnt pass the sas course ... hope that has been of some help

If you go in the Army the SAS Will come Around & you only Get 2 Chances to Inpress them If you Dont then You have not go in the SAS.
SO YOU ONLY GET 2 CHANCES.

You must first serve in any of the british armed forces and then apply for SAS selection. But the pass rate is only like 10 %.
