Catterick is an Army garrison on the North York Moors.It now trains Infantry and Armoured Corps soldiers though there are other units stationed there.Bullying is blown out of all proportion by the press,I mean would you really bully a person who,a week later could be stood behind you with a high powered rifle.It takes a real moron to chance that.I joined a Junior Leaders Regiment in 1972 aged 15,there was 1150 of us in the camp aged 15 to 17,bullies were rooted out and severely dealt with.At that time Boy Soldiers were lower than pond scum but the PS NCOs had no time for bullies.This became apparent by the JL bullies coming on parade with black eyes and teeth missing.Don't worry on that account,the Army doesn't like bullies,whatever their rank. |

The "bullying" is called Military discipline and basic training.
You are being taught things which will save your life and the lives of your fellow soldiers, it's not PC, it's hard and if you can't take it then you have no place in the Infantry. When people find they can't hack it they go to the press with accusations of bullying which are rarely proved but the press don't care about things like facts.
