So if I am already enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, can go back to boot camp? Would it be free of charge? What is the protocol for this?
Additional Details
I want to go back to boot camp to retrain, and redefine myself. If that makes any sense. :)

Basic is a once in a lifetime experience. I am glad I did it, but I would not go back again even if they paid me to. |

Why would you want to? Basic training is to turn you into a Coastie... To learn the ins and outs of military life, to train you in what you need to know, all of that...
I don't believe you can just go back to basic because you want to though. |

If you really want to do that then become a Training Instructor. They go back through the training that they are teaching and they get to live it every day. I had a friend that did that and he loved it. |
