Can I pass MEPS after having back surgery in "99"?

I had back surgery in December of "99". I really want to join the amy and my recruiter said that I am fine. He says this because 4 months after my surgery I was back on the Track team and I have participated in numerous contact sports since the surgery. I am currently a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. Do I really have a chance at Meps? What kind of examine will they give me.
