Can I take my wife to Camp Casey?
Find answers to your legal question.

Can I take my wife to Camp Casey?

So I'm in AIT (13B) with 4 weeks to go, and I just recieved my orders for Camp Casey, Korea. I just got married like 2 weeks ago and I haven't yet had the chance to enroll my wife in DEERS...so as far as the army is concerned, I'm still "single". Will I be able to take her with me?? What do I need to do?

I don't know much about getting stationed in Korea, but I recently saw this in the Army Times. Maybe it will be useful to you.

Camp Casey is a dependent restricted tour. You can take her there but it will come out of your own pocket to get her there with her plane ticket and her passport. Also, you will have to get an off-base apartment. If you was going down south to a place like Camp Humphreys then you can get a command sponsored tour.

Your best bet is to enroll her while you are on leave after AIT at the nearest military base to her.
