Can I wear these?
Find answers to your legal question.

Can I wear these?

My husband is in Iraq and left behind a bunch of those grey t-shirts that he wore for PT. Considering they are a part of uniform, can I wear them to work-out, go running, etc? I don't want to wear them if I shouldn't be. Dumb question, I know but thanks for answering!

Hehe...thanks guys and girls. He just has a ton of them and it will be easier to wear them to save on laundry time. Plus, I run at night so the reflective aspect of it helps. And lastly, I of course have pride that my husband is in the US Army!

Yes, you can, and I'm sure he'd be honored if you did so.

As long as you don't wear any patches or rank insignia, you're okay.

Thanks to you and your husband for his service and your sacrifices.

Those shirts are available in any army/navy store for civilian purchase, so go ahead and wear them. I'd bet money that you look cuter in them, than your husband!

Yes. You can wear them all you like. You are not in the service. I have seen many military spouses wear the PT uniform. Including my girlfriend.

I think its fine. I know that you can't wear a full uniform of his. For example, his entire PT uniform or BDUS, dress uniform, etc.

My husband mentioned that if you are wearing more than three articles of govt. issued clothing then it has to be in spec. We were at wal mart and he saw somebody he worked with. He had his cap on backwards, BDU shirt unbuttoned and untucked, BDU pants unbloused and sagging. How terrible does that make our military look? My husband cussed him out for what he was worth and called the first shirt. He got into a LOT of trouble.

Back to your question. Yes you should be able to wear them as long as your are not wearing the shorts or pants that would complete the uniform. :)

I am sure he wouldn't mind if you can get a hold of your husband you can ask him if not than go ahead I ams ure he wont mind as long as you don't ruin them

You can wear them without any type of repricution. People might ask you if you are in the army tho.

It should be!!!

Ask him, I'm sure he'd love to hear from you!

And yes, you can wear them as long as they do not have any identifiers on them.

Yes, you can wear them. They sell them in other places. I have some left over from when I was in and I see spouses wear them too.

As a civilian and wearing other clothing that is not military I doubt there would be a problem. It looks like these were surplus, they are now, anyway.

Well, i would say dont wear them because you dont want to give people the wrong idea. Cause they someone may find you in the street take you down to the headquaters into training. Just sayin, you never know it could happen.
