Can a NOT USA citizen join the army ?

oo well im not from the usa but i live in the usa and the only way for me to become usa citizen is by getting married with an american citizen or by joining the army so does any body knows what possibilities do i have to get into the army ? and once i get into it how many years does it takes to get my usa citizenship ???

if you do not have a Green Card no you cannot enlist. the Military will not help you get one either.

the military does NOT take illegals and in fact informs ICE when an illegal comes in looking to enlist.

If you have a green card you can indeed get into the military, though your options will be limited to what jobs you can pick. The military will assist you in getting your citizenship application process (expediting your application to the top) and will pay for most if not all of the fees involved.

You must have a green card.

May I recommend the Air Force?

You have to serve one year before you can apply for citizenship.
