Can a PFC drop a PV2 in the army?

where in writing in army regulations say that the pfc has to drop too? ive heard it just never seen it in writing

Actually according to the AR, you cant use pt as a punishment or corrective counseling, unless whatever the soldier did to warrant said corrective counseling, specifically has to do with failing PT. The example in the AR says that if you fail a room inspection, the cc should be to clean your room over and over again in a short period of time. So no a PFC can not drop you, if you want to make something of it, threaten IG or actually go to the IG, either way the PFC is wrong.

the way it was explained to me by my chain of command was that if the pfc is in a position of authority over the pv2 like team leader or something they can drop you i'm not sure if it works with any 2 random privates hope that helps...

It used to be like that, technically eevr rank counts and you are always supposed to act a certain way for your superiors.

When I got to the 82nd AB, pfc's and specialists were dropping me and i was a pv2 only days away from getting my pfc.

Not sure what part of the SOP's this would be written in.
