Can a soldier cheat on their partner while at basic training?

Well I have been in the Navy for 9 years and am senior enlisted so I think I can answer this question for you.

It's unlikely that your boyfriend will cheat on you at basic training. It's possible that he can, but they keep an eye on the recruits so it's doubtful.

What I can tell you is that at my last command (duty station) I knew 32 married guys. I know for a fact that 12 of them cheated on their wives regularly, and I suspect at least 12 more had either done it before or had mistresses off to the side. Of all 32, I only know that 2 of them were completely faithful to their wives. I believe both of them were church-going Christian men.

Most guys cheat on their wives in the "real world" as well, but the percentage is even higher in the military because we deploy all over the place and I guess some guys have a problem keeping it in their pants.

It disgusts me, and I'm single. I don't even sleep around like some of the married guys I know.

Sorry if this is hard to take, but I figure that you should know the truth about how military guys are.

Really he could cheat anywhere, at home, at training, in the field. You will just have to trust him that he will stay faithful.

If he is in Boot Camp he cant do any of that. He is there for training and and they dont go off base and do that kind of stuff. Now his MOS school ( sorry Army calls it AIT ) I dont know, thats something else. And even if he does go to strip clubs that doesnt mean he is cheating. Strip Club is a strip club not a brothel.

Yes, a soldier can cheat. Yes, some soldiers do cheat. Should they cheat? No.

If you are worried you should discuss this with your partner.

Kara, I can guarantee you that there is no time for strip clubs during Basic. In fact there is very little time for sleep, but rest assured he has no time for 'cheating.'

There is very little free time in basic period.

second: according to the regulations it is not allowed to bring women into the campus, this never happens.However, on their days off soldiers, who havent seen a woman 4 long, might go to strip club-u never know.

Duuhhh? It does not take a soilder, a man or a woman in the army or any where in this world to be in basic training to cheat. The fact he does not call you and you do not trust him says to me Go find yourself a new boyfriend. this man is maybe right for you or maybe you are not right girl for him
Just because he is a soldier does not mean he is a cheat, your not trusting him is a concern, are you being true to him. or are you cheating because he is away and you think he is cheating on you

Opportuinities to misbehave do occur, but not every guy takes advantage of them. And yes, guys sometimes go to strip clubs to look, but not touch (in fact at many places that's the rule).

Only you know if you BF is *likely* to cheat, but it's virtually certain that he *could* at some point.

1. your boyfreind should not be going to basic if he hopes for strip clubs
2. the army is weak he should have joined the marines
3. the navy seals are the best and is the way to go
4. i dont know what boot camp your boyfreind is going to if there is strip clubs

Don't worry sweety-during basic training, the recruits are not allowed off base/post. The only places they are allowed to go (on their free time) is to the BX/PX or the DeCA Commissary.

If they were to grow some balls and step one foot out of the gate and go to a strip club, I'd think they'd be coming home with a new, freshly ripped as.s hole.

Edit-if he does find another girl during his time of basic (highly doubtful, very doubtful), if he gets caught-he will be recycled from the Army.

Only you know if your boyfriend has it within himself to cheat. Is it possible? Entirely. Does Army life hinder him from being loyal and monogamous? I never served but I doubt it does. Being a soldier means being disciplined and if he remains so for you thats a respectable thing.

Heck, I'd be more worried about you cheating. Have you seen the movie Jarhead?

Everyone's right, there's no time to go off post during basic. They are under watch constantly, and as far as I know, they don't get off-post passes. However there is time once they are in training and they do get passes then.
Since he is your boyfriend the Army wouldn't punish him if he was cheating, not sure if you were asking that question but it almost seemed like it. They are only concerned about cheating married soldiers, if you'd even want to call it concerned.
The military lifestyle is hard, if you can't trust him then you're going to have an even tougher time.

If you are talking about "BASIC" training then he doesn' t have the time and very little opportunity. Possible with a female recruit but they could get bounced if they get caught. Now if you're talking about other training like AIT (advanced infantry training) then they can go out at the end of the training day and do whatever they want with whomever they want. Why don't you talk to him?

if he's in basic i can promise you he's not cheating or going to strip clubs. he's up every morning at the butt crack of dawn and is working his *** off till bedtime. in navy bootcamp they'd rain down on u like a georgia thunderstorm if you even looked at a female. and there is no way they let them leave the base. think about it. if you were bustin ur *** every day, gettin chewed out 24/7, being treated like a dog by ur so called "superiors", and you were allowed to go out on the weekends, would you come back? i know that if i would have had the weekends off when i was in, i would have jumped the first bus back home. so don't worry about it. he's not cheating on u. in fact he's probably wishing you were there right now.

I wouldnt call it the "right" thing to do, but I dont see why you cant have a little fun. Is it fair that he's going to strip clubs, having out with girls, when your defending his right to do so? I THINK NOT!
