ok, so i had a seizure (or convulsion) a couple of months ago. it was the only seizure i've ever had. it was non epileptic, and none of my family has a history of epilepsy. it happened when i was playing a video game in an arcade. and i didnt have any meds. so will i be able to be in ROTC or in the military? and will i be able to get a waiver for dodmerb if i want to be in ROTC?

I suppose. There just lettin' anyone in the military these days. And video games can cause seizures. get checked by a doctor first. |

not sure it depends won what the meps people say. i know that if your epileptic you wont be accepted other than that im sure they'll let you in. |

I would not tell your recruiter about the seizure... however, upon admission the military, i would definitely stay away from any type of video based training i.e.- flight simulator. |
