Yes you can. Depending on the state that you are from you may be able to get scholarships when you get out but, while on active duty the military will they will pay for like 15 or 16 credits per year or like $4000 total annually. This may not sound like much but it adds up and you would get college credit for a lot of your training and experience. (The credits will add up faster than you think.) You will also be able to take CLEP tests for free which helps.

I think you have one chance to pass a test and if you pass you go for free. Something like that...

Yeah your tuition will be free and they'll even spot you some fun money also known as a stipend. Do a search for the new GI bill. If you serve three years active you got it made in the shade.

ok by what all of my friends have told me is that yes you can join the military and then go to school but wouldn't you rather go to school while your in the military. and they told me that it all depends on how much they give but usually its like 40k for your education. but ofcourse its never free you need to sign a contract that says you are a sole protector of the USA!!!!

and dont listen to dummies like revert and stuff they are just dummies the best branch you can join is the air force its the one with the least worries unless you wanna be a paratrooper. lol!

You have to apply for a college tuition program (GI Bill) while enrolled, and you save up so much towards your tuition. It's usually not enough to pay for most colleges. I think totally after 4 years is $20,000.

You are better off going to college at the same time as your enlistment, and then you can go to on base colleges for free.

it's about $45,000, that's not even two semesters at some schools but will cover a state school and probably many average schools.

You sure Can, with a G.I. Bill. Also, a Rotc program you can attend college for free but you may have to stay longer in the military until your obligation is up.

Not if you're dead. If you join the Air Force, you might (a) survive, and be admitted to college, and use G.I. bill money to pay for it, (b) die, (c) survive, but no longer want to go to college, or (d) survive, but not be admitted to college.
