Like ADD/ADHD victims he has to document good performance in school or on a job to qualify for enlistment. He shouldn't lie about it. If signs of it later surface he would be subject to a general discharge under honorable conditions for having a condition prior to enlistment which now makes him unfit for further service.

I don't know if it is disqualifying, but with my experience working with 'aspies' I see it being a major problem.

I think it would depend on the individual and what their symptoms were. It would surely be more difficult than someone without asperger's
