Can you be an Officer and a Drill Instructor?

Ok, I want to be an officer in the Marines but also a Drill Instructor. Can I do both?

Not at the same time.

You would have to enlist, advance to become a non commissioned officer, become a drill instructor, apply for OCS or other officer program and become an officer.

It has been done many times.

No one is a CO and the other is a NCO.

Nope. Only enlisted get that privilege.
