Can you fly the USMC Flag under the US Flag on the same pole?

yes you can...as long as the the us flag is on top you're good to go...

Yes you can fly them both on the same pole. Of course Old Glory should be flown above the USMC flag, but it is possible to fly them both from the same pole.

BTW it is never proper to fly the flag of another county either above or below the US flag anywhere within the US or its territories or properties. The flags of different nations should always be displayed from separate flag poles and should be similar in size. It is not necessary for the flag pole to be different heights as long as the proper respect is paid to the location of the US flag. No other flags should be flown to the left of the US flag as you face the flags.

7g. reads, "When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace."

7c. starts, "No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America..."

7c. later on reads (emphasis ours), "No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof..." I'm pretty sure you meant to ask if it's proper, not if it's safe like some answers suggest.
If you fly them on the same pole then the American Flag Goes on top. If they are on different poles on the same property, then the pole the American Flag goes on should be taller.

Of course you can, its not like the marine flag or the us flag are going to fall down if flown together.

Here we fly both the california and the usa flag and they dont fall out

yes it is alright to do that, i know this because my friend lives in an old folks home with his grandpa and someone in the neighborhood has and American flag and a USMC flag right under it.

Yes but the US flag MUST be on the top regardless of what other flag is on the pole. NEVER fly an American flag below another.
Some "die-hard" guys do not fly other country's flags on the same pole as the US, but that isn't a rule.

EDIT: Yep William is right, if it were two separate poles then US would have to be a little taller. Because it is the best flag in the world after all..

Yes, but make sure you fly the United States flag over the Marine Corp flag out of respect. You are supposed to do this in other countries as well. For example, if I live in Mexico, I fly the Mexican flag on top and the United States flag under it.
