I'm 15 as of June 4th 2010, I'm a sophomore now. I want to join the marines. How far back do the marines check if you've done drugs? My first and last time doing ecstasy was May 1st and 2nd of this year. I've smoke marihuana from five to ten times; last time i did was May 2nd of this year.

I wonder though if you are ready for the Marines?
You seem to be deep into using/trying drugs.
I would recommend you go a year with no drugs before you consider the Marines. |

To all the kiddies on here, don't answer the question if you haven't been or are in the military. Go back to your video games. Chris, If you want to join the Marines, stop the drugs man! As Marines, were held to a higher standard. You still have a few years before you can join the Corps, so your a little young. But it also sounds like you have a drug problem. We don't want stoners in the marine Corps! Clean up your act and you might get to be a Marine! And to the idiots talking about them testing your hair, they need to lay off the weed also! |

if you can pass a drug test you can get in and that **** that you did wont show up anymore because its out of your system unless they do a hair test idk the last time you cut your hair |

Well you can not join the Marines until you are 16, and that is only with parental consent or if you have been emancipated. So looks like you have a year to stay clean and sober and you will be fine! |
