I see nothing but support for you, you probably did a good thing, I am sure that this dog handler is probably taking a rap for a superior officer, that is usually the case. This whole follow orders thing goes right up to Bush he is the one that should be serving a sentence.

Oh BOO HOO. A filthy terrorist, someone who tried to protect Saddam's evil, brutal regime was frightened by a big doggie.

When I hear about Abu Ghraib, I'm struck by the night and day difference between how it operated under Saddam, and how it operated under our military control. Under Saddam, it had REAL torture cells, where people's bones were broken, shoulders were ripped out of their sockets, people had hands cut off, men were forced to watch their wife or daughter raped by some filthy guard.

Under our control, nothing happened that was much different than a fraternity hazing. We used psychological duress; Saddam used savage beatings and amputation of limbs. Saddam let the dogs attack. We just let the prisoners think that danger existed if they didn't cooperate.

I'm so sick of the U.S. treating prisoners a hundred times better than they would be treated in their own country, and have the world denouce us as if we were abusing them.

In Guantanemo Bay, Cuba, the prisoners all have nice clean clothes, healthy meals, two showers a week, a Koran, sunlight, and importantly...a safe environment. Compare that to what they would get if they were imprisoned in their own country. Forget clean clothes. They'd get washed maybe once every few months. Showers? Are you kidding? The food? Well, try to ignore the rat feces and the maggots. Prisoners would be thrown into some dark, dank hell hole where they would be menaced by other prisoners while the guards ignored "the animals".

So, we have Saddam's terror prisons that reminiscent of the movie, "Hostel", compared to the U.S. run prisons that engaged in psysically harmless fraternity hazing to extract important information.

Many prisoners in Guantanemo have never been so healthy, well fed, or squeaky clean in their lives. They may regret having to go back home where the conditions are so much more primitive.

now i think that that is only one instance of a person abusing their power against another person. i dont think too many people would associate you with that, this is realy the first time ive heard of any issues with animals and abu ghraib. as long as you didnt do these actions and its something that you were proud of i think you should be able to tell people what you do without embarassment

Sorry, but I don't feel that getting barked at is all that terrible of abuse or worthy of note. I suppose it's because I'm not a prissy wimp.

Same with all the 'terrible' abuse of having to wear panties or whatever humiliation the prisoners underwent. The only problem was those idiots went and recorded it - and the media and loopies went bonkers.

You see it only takes one person to disgrace everyone. If you behaved in the same manner with your dogs, you should be ashamed. If not, you should stand up for yourself. Dogs only do what their trainers ask of them.

Why do you keep digging for excuses to belittle yourself and our military like this? I've seen your posts on both this and your other name and this is about all you do. You obviously have a problem and need to seek help.

Check this out. Your neighbor has the same kind of car as you (for example purposes) and goes out and runs over someone. Do you give up your car because of your neighbor? You may as well from the way you talk. Stop trying to take responsibility for other peoples actions. Go to a therapist and get some help. And, like already stated, quit bashing our troops!

Isn't the dog considered a soldier also, and if so, then why cant the dog yell at the prisoner I mean after all he doesn't want to be over there either? Why would they punish the soldiers partner they should punish the dog.

Your screen name uses the words K-9 Military...I don't think you're really ashamed of it at all -- and you shouldn't be. You should be proud of your service, yet you choose to dishonor yourself, the military and your country constantly. I don't understand it.
