By governments learning and understanding foreign culture and embracing the differences and incorporating this in their policies. There needs to be a far more diplomatic approach and there needs to be a destruction of the perceived and deep rooted stereotypes which govern a lot of decision making with regards to terrorism. There are images and idiologes we automatically think off when we hear the word terrorism. But what actually is it. Before you stop and erradicate anything and look to do so permanantley you have to fully undestand and know what you are dealing with.
So in a nutshell to stop terrosim we have to fully understand what actually drives and fuels it and stop it. then maybe perhaps we can one day end terrorism for good.

Terrorism is what keeps the world going in the sense of government politics. If there were o terrorism, there wouldn't be no budgeting, funding and war so one cannot exist without the outher. |

Primarily curtail / stop immigration into our lands. Issue all those who are here (in the UK) ID's and mandatory visits to Govt offices to check their behavior etc. Forbid in any/all forms the introduction of their laws or whatever (Shari for one) to be used in any way whatsoever. Ensure they pledge to uphold, behave, adhere to and abide by the laws of our lands. And all of age serve in the military in the event the UK is threatened or whatever
Prevent their selling off of their daughters who are forcibly returned to other countries to marry and thus return to the UK with umpteen more of their clan. Many are totally none working and indulge in many unlawful pursuits. Curb their 4 wives policies. Disband all Muslim Councils as they are no more than religious secret police (under a different banner) established and freely allowed to enforce all edicts of Islams clerics, the greater majority of which are totally alien / unlawful in none Muslim lands.

1. top politicians express pleasure on lifting ban from suspected terrorist organisations...
2. politicians calling the majority population and their organisations as 'communal'...
3. hindu politicians condemning hindus for their solidarity towards hindu belief... just for vote-bank... |

yeah...de best solution would b to kill myself and u should kill urself so dat u won't able to see de future craps.....unless de government brings on some strict anti terrorism rules it'l b difficult....i could say de UPA did it's best to promote terrorism...it even cancelled POTA which was de only thing against terrorism in our country just for de sake of muslim votes....Manmohan's really spoiling his reputation .... |

Terrorism will never be completely stopped. First of all, it's very difficult to define terrorism. Even the US government, which is currently engaged in a "War Against Terror", can't come up with a encompassing definition what terrorism is (So you ask yourself, "How can they carry out a war over something they can't define?"). Secondly, terrorism has been around since the beginning of civilization in one form or another. However, a nation-state can do things to thwart the rise of terrorism.
For example, not invading sovereign nations with no real provocation is one way to prevent a rise in terrorism, such as the US invasion of Iraq.
Another way is to not support rouge nations while chastising other countries that are doing the same thing, such as the US support for Israel while pushing sanctions against Iran.
And yet another way to prevent terrorism is not to say one thing and then do another, such as the US support for Saddam Hussein while he's fighting Iran and using chemical weapons on his own people, and then invade Iraq for BS reasons and have him executed.
I think it would also help to prevent the US from becoming a Christian Theocracy, much like Iran, which is an Islamic Theocracy. There's already enough religious strife in the world. Americans need to understand that when you create a religious government, democracy and freedom is pushed to the side. |
