Ok, so I just went to MEPS yesterday (fun fun fun) and had literally like 4 choices for jobs and very reluctantly signed as an IC. I have doubt this is a good rate, but I have absolutely NO experience or desire frankly to do this job. I know about completing DAR's and that is just a request, my question is has anyone actually filled out one of these recently and had success with it? How likely is it that this will get approved? I wanted CTI, but have to take the DLAB first.But just in case I don't pass, just wondering the success rate on these recently.

I originally told my recruiter no, that I wasn't going to sign for anything. His boss was furious with me. The classifier called me selfish. I mean the rate that I have isn't all THAT bad, but if I go in there and tell them I want out, they will FLIP!

Once you get into a job field it almost takes God himself to intervene if you want it changed (been there done that). Go back and tell your recruiter that you will not ship if you do not get another job, you can get out of your enlistment until your report date.
