Yes--it COULD be right to say that. They in their opinion have a grievance, and as the perpetrators are unassailable, and the instruments (the military) are so well armed, then the only option is the soft underbelly. Obvious enough, isn't it? The Governments of these exploded citizens AND the bombers have basically the SAME LEVEL of CONCERN for the citizen--not a f***ing JOT. They are pawns in a game. Don't anyone try to tell me that Blair hadn't taken any exploded citizen backlash into account before he attacked Iraq. How long will this slumber LAST??
And incidentally, citizens of a DEMOCRACY can't be "innocent" of their Government's crimes.

EDIT: I've just reminded myself--most of you duffers don't actually REALISE that these bombers want to kill BLAIR and BUSH figures! Failing that, they want to kill the STORMTROOPERS themselves! Then, if THAT is too difficult, killing the SHOPPERS is a last resort!!!! Do you duffers really think that Blair and Bush figures would even CONSIDER doing this stuff if they themselves may be put in any danger? I count their FRIENDS and FAMILIES in that, as well.

Freedom from what? These people did not come in from a country we were at war with, or occupying, they grew up and lived here in England, they may have been misguided, possibly, even "brainwashed", but blowing up buses and trains, was an act of terrorism, nobody. here, or abroad, gained any freedom because of it!

I don't see how attacking innocent civilians is considered 'freedom fighting,' but then again I wouldn't be surprised if you called Hitler a 'freedom fighter' also.

People who deliberatly murder innocent people are not freedom fighters they have been brain washed to think it is the right thing to do, the people who brain wash them are even more evil as they do not carry out the evil deed them selves. It is out and out evil to deliberatly take a life and even worse when it is many lives I am glad it is not me having to face my maker after they have done the evil deed I want to meet my maker with hopefully a fairly clear conscious.

The London Bombers were not Freedom Fighters just cold bloodied murderers who killed innocent civilians of all regions and not political targets. This country is a Democracy these murderers want a dictatorship and any when who gets in there way or have a different point of view will be killed. Where is The freedom in that !

One mans freedom fighter is another man terrorist.

For years US Citizens provided financial aid to the PIRA for their campaign of murder in Northern Ireland, as they viewed them as freedom fighters, but it came home to the US after 9/11 that Freedom Fighters are also Terrorists. All of a sudden the money dried up, unsurprisingly!

One who deliberately strikes innocents is not a freedom fighter, for they deliberately took away other innocent people's freedom to live.

Real freedom fighters walk a thin line between freedom fighting and terrorist. It is a really thin line, but makes all the difference

You should watch a video all about the Federal Reserve and all of there roles in the Great Depression. I am pretty sure it is called Zeitgeist. You can find it on Youtube. And no I do not think they were freedom fighters. But I also think the "powers that be" have control over money, media, and political decision making. The people who commited the London bombings were criminals in the fact they tried to kill civilians.

The difference between "freedom fighters" and terrorists is actually quite simple. Legitimate freedom fighters attack legitimate military and political targets. Terrorists attack innocent civilian targets.

As an example, I've always supported the IRA's goals, but their means made them terrorists, and I would never support them, therefore.
