Did anyone's DS or DI talk trash about other branches during initial training? I remember my Drill Sergeant saying "If you want easy, should have joined the army, This is Fort Benning ~Home of the Infantry~ This really sticks out in my memories. Almost seemed like we were different branches.

Yea they do because there ignorant and have no idea about the other branches or what they really do. I would join Army infantry or Calvary Scouts if you want to join anything. |

The saying in the Army is Marine stands for "Muscles Are Required, Intelligence Not Expected", or even "My *** Rides In Navy Equipment" |

Well, last I heard, Ft Benning is an Army post, so are you Army or Marines? I'm confused, but yes, when I went through Army basic, a Drill had this cadence that did nothing but rip on the other branches. It is all just sibling rivalry. |
