Why don't they just level Iraq? Bring in the big bombs and wipe the a$$holes out. I feel horrible for all the families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. My husband came back from this war deaf, my brother in law came back a hardcore drunk with night terrors. Give the guys what they need to secure the damn country and let them come home already. It makes me want to vomit thinking of all the wives and mothers who are crying on graves at Arlington.

Did you have a good easter, knowing that our troops are there defending your freedom???

stanleys_2001
I'm sure George Bush enjoyed his EASTER DINNER as best as he could.

Nobody enjoyed even ONE LOSS of our troops.

And... I'm sure YOU enjoyed the safety as you enjoyed as well, that your troops afforded you.

Did you enjoy your EASTER DINNER? I sure hope so... because it obvious to me that you don't "GET" why these sacrifices are being made.

First.. it's 4,000th.. shows the education of you people

Second.. I have a question for you, did the 3,000 mothers, fathers, and daughters of the 9/11 victims have a good Easter Dinner?

If we don't stop them before they get to us, you have seen what destruction they have done. I simply do not get it. I mean, Bin Laden, one of MANY terrorists over there, decides he wants to fly a plane into the WTC. What's stopping a murderous dictator with far more power from doing that, OH YEA.. WE ARE

Sacrifices are made in all wars, and there are always the cheerleaders on the side that complain about them. The soldiers are the first ones to defend the war every time.

Go hang with the rest of your NDA butt-buddies and leave us alone in here... I'm personally tired of hearing you whine about the war, bush and my fallen brothers. Go take more pics of coffins and go to your little war-rallies... just GO!

What did you do yesterday... go to one of your little anti-war rallies or spend time with your family?

karen
I don't know, did you??

PeaceLoveHappiness
I hope he did!
Its not bushes fault for what other people do to our troops!

feelingbuzzy
I'm sure they prayed.
Now leave your hatred out of Easter.
Stop sullying the memory of the soldiers and the Holy day.

im sure it weighs on his mind...does it weigh on your mind each day..is he not allowed to be thankful for what he has with his family..is he not allowed to be human...those troops in iraq..signed up without being forced...and although we should be thankful they are there and we dont have to go...the military isnt party time...its for war...

robert m
Did you have a good time while these soldiers were dying? Instead of casting blame on our president, why don`t you figure a way of stopping terrorism yourself and solve everyones problems. These soldiers who died knew actactlly what they were up against and what they were defending. And they were willing to give there life to those reasons.

It's funny you ask that question......you should wonder about all the families of soldier's and whether they enjoyed theirs. My husband is deployed and yes I did enjoy my Easter. It wasn't as good as if he was here but good none the less. Bush probably did enjoy his just like you enjoyed yours. So in essence it was a pretty dumb question.

Laird C
Did you?

I'm pretty sure *you* weren't over there, either!

I don't understand why the media is making a big deal over 4,000 deaths. Why wasn't 3,999 just as important?

It's always sad when someone dies. But what is more sad is how American media and the democrats use these deaths to profit (does not always mean monetarily) and try to make themselves look better by pointing it out.

For the family who lost a loved one, there one is not more sad or missed because of 4,000.

It's not 4,000, that's just a number, these are individuals. When the media can understand that, then we can worry less about numbers and more about real life. I'm sick of the media making the deaths of men and women into just numbers.

Look at Bush now compared to when he first went into office, he has aged quickly. World events obviously weigh on him. I only wish Clinton would have worried/ cared half as much, maybe then we wouldn't be in the mess we're in.

paratrooper1981
Did you are or do you just use the fact that 4,000 good men and women died doing what they volunteered to do for your your political agenda. And yes I believe it is weighing heavy on his heart and mind as it should every American.

PS Soldiers are in the Army you also have Marines, Airmen, Sailors And Cost Guardsmen different titles for different branches

PSS I was home this year for easter for the first time n 6 years and it was lovely

What I think you are suggesting is that Bush should also be over there fighting and maybe get killed. Then we would have Cheney as President which I am sure would make you much happier. When these soldiers sign up they know that the possibility exists that they are not going to be home every night or holidays and may have to make the ultimate sacrifice so people like you and I can have the freedom to have an EASTER DINNER.

Tragedies happen every day, life goes on.
Stuff happens, doesn't mean everyone needs to stop everythign an mourn 24/7.
Didn't happen in any of the other wars.
Who cares if he enjoyed his dinner, who honnestly cares if he even thought about that soldier. It was horrible that anyone dies but do you mourn at every death? Every car accident victim, every murder victim, every suicide, every homicide?
Its life, Get over it. Let the familes grieve and let people move forward.

Stop making the deaths of soldiers fit peoples' political agendas, because it is disrespectful towards the deceased.

MC2
Are you a soldier? Did you serve in Iraq? Was there a draft? Cuz you shouldnt be making opinions about a world you will never know. I don't support the war and definitely did not vote for Bush, but I can tell you, you have no clue as to what those soldiers feel.

George Bush may be a horrible president and the war may be "unjust" but that doesnt give you the right to speak for the soldiers...cuz many of them are willing to die for ungrateful, ignorant people, which is more than you would ever consider doing.
