Out of respect for the families of the deceased we should return the remains of the pirates to Somalia, in exchange for some or all of the hostages.
We shouldn't let this one go. They attacked one of our flagged ships, this ought to turn in to the biggest mistake these pirates have ever made. No free lunch on this one, you want your dead back, give us back our living, still alive. |

I really wouldn't know nor do I care one way or the other. The three of them did a naughty thing and payed the ultimate price for it. What will we do with the carcasses? Well Davy Jones has been accepting the bodies of Pirates for centuries. It's good enough for me. Of course in these gentler more sensitive times they will be released to their families or anyone else who wants them for proper burial. UGH!!! Well that my take on it. Good luck to you. |

Did they use head shots? These days snipers often prefer to go for center mass kills because you have a better chance of hitting the target, and the specialized ammo they use gives them a good chance of a clean kill.
I hope that the bodies will be returned to Somalia, local religion/culture often requires that the bodies be buried very quickly, and regardless of who these people are and what they did their burial customs should be respected. Washington can't treat expect US remains to be treated with dignity if it doesn't do the same. Nobody wants to see US dead being brought back home all cut up or abused in revenge for not respecting other people's customs. |

Quite possibly, and I believe we'll be running an endless video feed of same into Somalia and any other back-ash nation with similar ill conceived notions.
I also hear that the carcasses will be made into Somali Mc Nuggets, which Obama has ordered to be flash frozen and immediately drop shipped to Malawi and Darfur, where they are a greatly coveted delicacy. Now THAT'S Socialism!! |
