the USA lost a LOT of credibility and face because of the Iraq war, and not just over seas, in the USA also |

Obama 2012, all worn out

No, if they left us they were never our true friend in the first place, good riddance to bad rubbish. |

Living in Europe, I can tell you that Bush is very unpopular around here.
There have been many rallies against him and his war. |

No, as they were not our friends to begin with.
Russia, Germany, and France had financial interests with Saddam and elected to support him rather then the USA.
They are not our friends.
Friends back their friends actions as did Britain and Australia |

Yes there where anti-war rallies everywhere in Europe especially in Britain. We didn't want to go to war.
A general european consensus is that we hate Bush, can't wait to see him leave office.
Anti-America felling where strong and still is. Americans said that they felt very un-comfortable visiting London. People are felling less anti-American at the moment, but this is largely due to time and Bush leaving office.
The worlds view of America has changed, which has hurt America.
Americans in Europe pretended to be Canadian, and Americans where advised to disguise there nationality when in Europe, and Asia.
However alot of people realized that Americans and America are two different things. But we didn't like Americans who supported the Bush government.
Yes i think it has damaged outside view of America. America is used as a great source of comedy globally, it is easy to laugh at.
The US did not have the support of the British military or British citizens, they merely had the support of the government, this is a very different thing.
We as a consensus of British people and Europeans did not want the war, or support it. We maintain to this day that it is wrong, illegal, immoral and should of never of happened. |

The US loses friends every time we do something that's not in a socialist and cowardly vein. That's what happens when you're the greatest nation on earth. |

No, we lost people how were not "freinds" in the first place.
We only lost respect of the loony left. |

Yes we did. Mostly because of the unilateral approach and our refusal to listen to allies. Most countries favored a different approach or they were wondering, why Iraq? They were plenty of anti-war rallies and they continue on capitol hill today. Most countries, I would imagine, find him dangerous and unpredictable. This harbors a lack of trust towards America by other countries. |

Yes, but I think the world knows that the American people and the republican administration are two different things. |

Yeah. The US of A lost a few allies because they did violate the Geneva convention treaties a few times, but nothing huge. And a lot of civilian casualties, along with some blue on blue here and there. Such as a certain American bomber blowing the hell out of other allied troops. |

I agree with Ed F. Also, since when should our US policy for dealing with Terrorists who are spreading propaganda and death to America, be determined by those smaller countries who are being deliberately manipulated by Terrorists to not remain allies with us? Sorry, if that sounds complicated, but it is. No one said terrorists can't think. |

The U.S. lost some friends because the war was not approved by the
Geneva convention and most European countries agreed with the U.S.
but not all. |
