It isn't Iraq that wants your money elsewhere.
It isn't Iraq that wants your thinking distracted.
It isn't Iraq where America can punish guilty. |

Remember Bush fired one of his top economic advisers in 2003 for saying the war might cost as much as 100 billion dollars, all the neocons said that was crazy, This war economically makes the Big Dig in Boston look like a sound financial decision. |

Is 1.4 trillion dollars the cutoff mark for you?
Should we have pulled out of Germany the moment the costs hit 1.3 trillion? |

We're not staying for the WMDs, we've known those were a lot of windmills for a long time.
But WE de-stabilized Iraq and no matter how much it costs, it is our responsibility to re-establish a viable government and enable it to create stability for its citizens.
For us to pull out now would be simply irresponsible, akin to abandoning your girlfriend when you find out she's pregnant. |

Your question to us is, did we see that the War in Iraq cost 1.3 trillion dollars and they didn't have any WMD?
Yes, I saw that Bush's Iraqi War cost 1.3 trillion dollars and they didn't even have any weapons of mass destruction. Plus, Iraq had nothing to do with the WTC 9/11/01 tragedy.
Did you know that over 3 thousand of our boys and girls in Iraq have been killed/ blown up or/and gone forever? What a waste of good lives! |

Nope, i didn't see that.
Because he hasn't cost 1.3 trillion dollars already.
It is estimated that it will cost 1.3 trillion total, over the next 40 years.
When you factor in all current cost and future cost. |

Keep in mind that we have had no repeat of 9/11. Yes, I'm sure that we would take a different path if we knew then what we now know. However, make no mistake, we ARE at war. And it is a war that was NOT initiated by us. However we fight, fight we must. If not on foreign soil then here when the war is brought to our own homes. While I am not happy about this, it seems inescapable. There are those who hate us, and, wish to stir their people to hate us to continue their way of life and maintain their wealth. In America we have a middle class, but in much of the world, it is an age old story, a few wealthy and many poor. How to control the poor? Convince them that the US is the problem. |

Look at the up-side... Bush and Cheney have made billions for themselves in their "blind trusts". Think Halliburton and Blackwater and their no bid contracts. An that is just the money they are making legally. Calculated at $50 barrel there is 1$12-15 million in Iraqi oil missing PER DAY. Billions are missing from the Iraqi reconstruction funds. I'll bet if their wealth wasn't hidden so well, they would knock Bill Gates off the top of the wealthiest people list.
Someone needs to notify olliesiv... that even Bush finally admitted there were no WMD, she must live under a rock. |

yes war is expensive, let me start off by saying im in the military...and with that i hate our president. however, we cant just up and leave, its not that simple, actually in all likelihood our troops will never leave the middle east. completely. they have something we want and now we are there for life, or until we no longer need the oil. initially we had a moral reason to go, but that reason has long since passed, now we stay because we wanna stay the most powerful country in the world, and as we all love that freedom we shouldnt constantly ***** about the war, because without it we wouldnt be where we are at. is this immoral, maybe but are u willing to give up your freedom and wealth? because compared to most of the rest of the world, we americans are rich, and without this war and protecting some of the most valuable assets the world has to offer, america wouldnt be the same. u dont have to support the war, many ppl including service members dont, but please support your troops, they need all that they can get, because regardless of the presidents agenda, we (the troops) in our heart fight because we love everything this country is and has to offer, and to make sure our loved ones are safe, healthy and happy. |

Why bring up WMD? WMD was nothing more than a piece of terrorist propaganda, sponsored and delivered by our government, for going to war. It's not proof of anything other than that our government is successful at persuading the masses into a pro-war mentality. |

Who really cares how much it cost, we are the strongest country in the world. No one is going to make us pay all that off any time soon. And you will never have to pay more towards it in taxes then you already payed before the war because Americans do not vote people into office that would raise taxes that high. |

There are weapons of mass destruction and that is why we are there. Go live in the country and then you will have nothing. Be proud and be happy you live in a safe Country!! God Bless AMERICA. If you think voting Hil for President will take our guys out of the war then you are seriously wrong. She won't. |
