im in the army reserves enlisted last year in december ive been drilling with my unit cuz i havent one to basic or AIT yet
the whole battalion is suppose to take the APFT this next drill
but ive heard different things from different ppl some ppl say i have to and some say im not allowed to because its a risk if i get hurt
or somethin like that
can anyone clear this up for me?

Nothing in the regulations prevents you from taking the APFT.

It's no risk. Army Reservists are known to be lazy. The thing is...you SHOULD take the APFT, to see what, if anything you need to work on to pass your PT test be BCT and AIT.
