UMM, yes personally know two Airforce Nurses that have been stationed in Germany and the Azors (2-3 years), along with IA's and Deployments.... |

Yes they do. It is the same as Navy or Army nurses for that matter. |

Yes and I have several friends who are aeromed flight nurses in the Air Force who are currently deployed. There is a series on HBO that some of them have even appeared in that was filmed in Baghdad that I suggest you watch. Along with aeromed flight nurses you also have nurses that are deployed that perform their duties in the staging facilities and augment the Army and their second echelon treatment facilities which are you contingency hospitals and combat medical surgical hospitals. One of my friends was the head nurse of the hospital at Bagram in Afghanistan a while back. |

Deployments vary from 4-12 months long. |
