People kill people. If no one had guns, people would still kill people. They have since man began to walk this earth, long before guns.

Guns have a trigger mechanism. Somebody has to pull the trigger. They don't normally go off randomly on their own. And also don't forget somebody has to load them, I really don't think it's possible for a firearm to load itself. So I would say people kill people. If we didn't have guns, would there still be murderers? I believe that answer would be YES.

a gun (or firearm) to give it its proper designation is nothing more then a tool for a particular task,its designed to kill by people trained to use it for that task,unfortunately for us all the weapon is also available to those who are not trained in its use to the level they should be,so yes,people(idiots) with a gun kill people,the weapon does not fire itself.

my opinion is entirely different... here is why. simply put guns kill people but the person aiming, using, playing, etc with the gun is the KILLER THE OBJECT USED, WHATEVER IT MAY BE, KILLS. THE PERSON BEHIND SAID OBJECT JUST INITIATES ITS ACTIONS, WHICH OBJECTS CANT DO.
