Everyone that enlists has to take the asvab.
Just because you have a degree does not make you smart. I once enlisted a guy with a bachelors degree from a local community college that got a whopping 32 AFQT (minimum passing is 32).
Good thing he wanted to be a cook, because that was all he qualified for.lol
Besides the ASVAB is not only a pass/fail test it also shows what areas you have an aptitude for learning and what job would be best suited for you.

ASVAB is for enlisted and most Officers. Advanced degree, no you don't need it (direct commission). I didn't take one because of an advanced degree.
Pick up a study guide and do your best. Those guides will increase your score. |
