I hope to join the army and become a combat medic. I am almost halfway through a B.S. in biology, and plan on taking the MCAT before enlisting. What else should I do to improve my chances of being accepted.

Not many,
The military med school has the same standards as all the other med schools in the US do.
Just being in the service , is not going to improve your admission chances.
You will still need a very high College GPA and a high MCAT score. |

As a medic, you can always drop a packet for PA school (I know not med school), while on active duty. That degree and a good mcat score and a good asvab score will definately help. They'll want to see leadership ability and basic good soldiering skills as well. |
