Depends which branch.
In the Navy.......yeah, it seemed dam near everyone, had some sort of tat, somewhere.......even all the girls.
Ya travel more in the Navy.......visit alot of ports.......and visit more "Navy towns" where, tattoo parlors are a dime a dozen.

Most ? No, but some do. As long as its in a place that isn't viewable while wearing the uniform of the day, most in the chain of command don't say anything about it.
On the other hand, i've noticed that the tougher the banch..the more the tatoo's generally......namely Army and Marines. |

NO......and my advice is not to get any tattoos..... they can adversely impact your life on many levels..... I have known people who actually sandpapered their tattoo trying to remove it.....they preferred a scar to the tattoo |

Overall, no. Some service members have tattoos or even though about tattoos, however, you need to take into account life after the military. Some business really frown on tattoos. |

Depends on the brach of service and the MOS. Most of the guys I work with do. |
