Do people know Jane Fonda did not pass that note to the Higher ups in North Vietnam?

Whether she did or not is beside the question. The real question is what was she doing there? If I had gone to Hanoi, I would have been either put in prison or shot. What she did was treason. It is forbidden for a private person to travel to countries during a war & visit POWs, make films of them, interview them under threat of death if they don't answer as told. This B**** belongs in prison! Now she shows up at the Nations capital with the protesters of the Iraq war! She has no shame! & those who consorted with her are either stupid or just as shameless as she.
Since that time I have not watched a movie that she has been in, not an interview on TV, nothing. This woman is desperate for attention. I won't give her mine.

Yes. That doesn't excuse her traitorous actions in supporting the enemy - the North Vietnamese who were trying to enslave South Vietnam, and who did so, to the harm of millions.

Not that you people care about the suffering of foreigners. You're too busy congratulating each other for how "brave" you were.

But I'll tell you one thing - I've never met a single South Vietnamese in the US who does not despise Fonda and people like her.

I do not care About your source she did do it and it is on tape that she did. There are many POWs that saw her do it. You do not think that Rich ********* is trying to get her name cleared. She helper kill American soldiers, she knows it, we know it, and she is trying to deny it after 40 years. She does not want to go to her grave as being known as Hanoi Jane, but to late!

What you say is true if you're referring to the note that an American POW supposedly gave her. As much as I dislike her, I have to take her side on this one. The POWs also denied it happened. There are several more rumors that were made up and blatantly held on as fact. Fonda hanged her own self when she turned traitor.

A lot of people credit her with contributing to our loss in Vietnam. Some Cambodian people also credit her with contributing to the slaughter of their relaltives thanks to the demoralizing effects of her actions on the the nation. Jane Fonda is one heck of a sk**k (rhymes with stank)

That might have helped to save the lives of some POWs which wasn't in her interest. I'm sure she'd do the same today.
