OK, I've got my shotgun and my machete, but I wonder about tasers. Will they stop the undead?

It would depend on how much of their circulatory system is still intact. If they're realitvly fresh it should as it would override the systems. If they've been dead for a while. then it's possible that the path would be broken, and would affect little if any of the zombie's anatamy.
I'd recommend using the taser on the living to get their food or ammunition instead of wasting time experimenting on the hungry dead. |

well in the past when you shoot a zombie they still don't die because there dead..you need to shoot them in the head..
so a taser would be like a bee sting to them..they would just brush it off..so your best bet is the old fashion way with a gun..
but then again if you use a machete to chop off there head that should work too..

Only if you use the tase them in the neck, but its not recommend due the close proximity and you most likely need a bigger shock due its death,shotgun its allright but you need to get a secondary weapon like a Magnum 500 or desert eagle 50. |

Pain compliance is only one factor in taser use. Even if an individual is unable to feel pain, a taser still uses Neuromuscular Incapacitation to cause uncontrollable muscle contractions and involuntary incapacitation. If the zombie has enough muscle to walk/stand, the taser WILL cause that zombie to collapse. Tasers however come in single shot cartridges costing $25 a piece, so using such a device against multiple zombies would not be practical or cost effective.
