Agreed Okie. I'm surprised to see such a turnout of naysayers. We are fighting Al-Qaeda on the battlefield mutually agreed.
Remember though:
"Islam is a peaceful religion, if you disagree, they will kill you." |

I WANT TO SCREAM THIS FROM THE ROOFTOPS!
The fact that I do not agree with the war has NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to do with supporting the troops..My father was a career military man..a man of honor and country and he would be cringing right now at the knowledge that this administration is misusing our fine men and women and their honorable hearts.
I cry daily over our loss, I cry over the fact that we have people in power that do not care..I don't see them or their own there, do you?!
I love our fine men and women, I grew up with people just like them and my heart, my soul is with them, they have my support.
Please do not allow a few make you believe that not supporting the war has anything to do with supporting our fine men and women who deserve our gratitude and our love, they are the heroes and unlike this administration, they are pure of heart and their intentions are honorable and not self serving. |

Because we cant attack Saudi Arabia because the Prince of Saudis has over 800 Billion dollars invested in America.Do You really think America can stand to loose almost a trillion dollars? And everyone knows that Bin Laden is a Saudi and 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. They had to go after someone. It's just ashame that more U.S. solders and innocent women and children are dying in the process. |

Just because your an idiot does not mean all Americans are idiots. Your question didn't make any sense... was that even a question because it seems more like a comment. Which still did not make any sense. |

Yup, it is oil business.
I have less problem with you dying so that I can drive a Cadillac than you dying so that Muslim women can dress stylish. |

Yes, significant amount of money is spent for the war effort, The money is paid to contractors who provide products and services to support the war activities. Most of the contractors are based in the United States but because their products and services are used in Iraq, you can say the United States do have business in Iraq. |

As long as Muslims kill our citizens in America on
our own turf, we have business going anywhere they
(terrorists) are to hunt them down and get rid of them.
They are a menace and want to take over the whole
world with their Muslimism and murder. It's a horrible
life for decent people in Iraq, Iran, and Syria. If they
don't agree with their head of government, they get
their hands and heads chopped off. |

It would make a lot more sense if the U.S. military just stayed out of Iraq.
Scenario One: Iraq. A bunch of people want to kill Americans simply for being American. But there aren't any Americans around, so it's just bravado that quickly turns to wondering what's for dinner tonight.
Scenario Two: Iraq. A bunch of people want to kill Americans simply for being American. And you just found out that your 4-year-old son was killed by an American soldier. And you know that another American raped a girl in the next village and then finished her off. Plus you know that Americans have continually been funding various tribes in your country to kill other tribes, leaving your country in chaos for as long as you remember.
You can figure out the rest.
At least in Iraq people don't hide themselves from the reality of war. They don't hide the bodies and simply chalk it down to a number of fallen "heroes".
The U.S. should probably choose not to be so blind about these things. You get these soldiers coming back with severe mental problems, like after Vietnam, just thinking, "Oh my God. What was I fighting for? Nobody here even knows anything about what I went through." Of course they don't. They just get the white-washed version of what war is about. All they know is that America is strong and winning some war overseas. |
