The BUSH Crime Family Administration Couldn't Have Done A Better Job Of Turning Iraq Into America's Most Expensive And Dangerous Enemy If It Had Genuinely Had That As Its Goal. . . .
Amount appropriated by the US Congress for Iraq operations so far: $218 billion
Number of global terrorist attacks reported by the State Dept in 2004: 651
Rank of Iraq among all nations as a training ground for terrorists: FIRST
Chances of a WMD attack in the next 10 years, according to leading arms experts: 70%
Estimated # of insurgents in Iraq (Nov. 2003); 5,000
Estimated # of insurgents in Iraq (Oct. 2005): 20,000
Number of US service members killed in Iraq: 2144+
Number killed since Bush announced the end of major combat: 2005+
WMDs found in Iraq: 0
More than two thirds of Americans think Bush is mishandling events in Iraq and almost a third believe civil war in the country is imminent, according to a Harris poll. http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/031806C.shtml
(Above Stats Compiled Late 2005)
BRING The TROOPS HOME NOW!!!
STOP SPILLING AMERICAN BLOOD And SPENDING AMERICAN TREASURE!
An IMMEDIATE Withdrawal Would Leave That Country To Itself As It Has Been For THOUSANDS Of Years Before This Country Invaded It
Let Them Kill Themselves, They DONT NEED Or WANT Our Help
Our Armed Forces Could Be Utilized To
"SECURE OUR NATIONS BORDERS"
Many Would Say That If We Withdraw Now, The "TERRORISTS" Have Won... NOT SO
If We Withdraw NOW, And Practice The "HOMELAND SECURITY" That Has Been Ineffectively Shoved Down Our Throats Since 9/11 .. Then I Say WE HAVE WON
If We Withdraw NOW And Stop Spending American Dollars To Fight A Cause That Has NO DIRECT AFFECT ON OUR NATION...
Then I Say WE HAVE WON
There Are People In Our Nation That Cant Afford To EAT
http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2006/03/28/MNGIRHUTNA1.DTL
And I KNOW There Are Those That Will Say That About Other Nations As Well .. But Youve Heard It Before
"CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME"
Instead Of Using FEDERAL FUNDS To Feed The Folks At Home
GW Insists On Using American Treasure To Have American Blood Spilled In Another Nation For People That
DO NOT WANT US THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE
END THE OCCUPATION IN IRAQ
IMPEACH BUSH NOW |

YES.... we shouldn't have been there in the first place..WHERE is BIN LADEN???? WE aren't the police for the whole world. |

Yes I do, because the original "causes" of the Iraq Invasion have not been completed, and the result is being worse than the solution. |

Absolutely not. Whether or not you agree with the reasons we went into Iraq, we are there now. The country's infrastructure is in shambles (partly because we bombed the heck out of it during the invasion), the government is in shambles (again, partly because of our actions), the people are on the verge of a civil war (...), and the country is a haven for anti-Western insurgents.
We wrecked the country. We can either stay and fix the damage that we did, or what little standing we have in the eyes of the world will evaporate.
Further, if we leave now, the insurgents and terrorists the world over will have won a very significant victory in the war on terror. They will be able to proclaim to everyone and anyone who will listen that the mighty United States of America fled before the blessed forces of Allah, and that the doctrine of terror works.
If you thought terrorists were bold before, just wait and see what happens if we turn tail and run. America will *never* be safe if that happens. As cold as it sounds, I'd rather spend American lives in Iraq now, then withdraw and wait to see how the terrorists are going to top 9/11. |

Yes because it was stupid in the first place to go into the war without any solid or alleged facts. Just a waste of lives. |
|

Jenny

Yes. Why because we have killed enough Iraqi's to last a life time. For every one American life there are 50 Iraqi's, so this is a bad deal for everybody. They should just give them, Saddam and be done with it. |

We did not advocate the occupation.
We do not support our troops.
We realize that they have been made into terrorists, not peace keepers. They are being used to fulfill the agenda of a few.
I really can't express my respect and gratitude enough to those people who will give their life for the better good. It is an icredible thing. Giving up your life for your fellow man is indeed comendable to say the least.
I have respect only for those soldiers, militants, terrorists if you will who are fighting a cause that they truly believe is right, not just because they recieve a pay check or feel it is their duty.
Some soldiers are brave, most are sad, pathetic robots.
There is no longer honorable war.
Above all a man must think for himself, most soldiers compromise this, and for that I can never forgive.
I have no respect for you Jonny Commando. If you think I am wrong, let's go, me and you buddy. Ever get your *** kicked by an anorexic drug addict?
You all are the laughing stock of the man, even before I whoop your ***.
It is diffult to back out now because we have aroused hatred. We have produced more terror. Back out the wrong way and we will be destroyed. You think we will never back out? We did, a long, long time ago.
What ever happened to espionage? What ever happened to having people on the inside? Nothing. This hole thing is a joke.
All of your opinions here are a joke. I haven't even read them and won't.
It is because of your bickering that you havn't noticed the man with the shroud. |

Not yet. Pulling out now would leave the country in ruins. Whether or not we should be there in the first place, we are there and have a moral and ethical obligation to those people. |

NO. The jihad believe that Americans are weak and they actulaly expected us to back down. If we were to leave, it would re-enforce their beliefs and make their following stronger. |

Everything is timing. Ask me tomorrow and I might say yes. But withdrawal now = vacuum = civil war. So I'm advocating them staying there and dying like flies and crossing fingers the iraquis get bored some day. Only usually tikes a generation so in maybe 30 years time.... Gee I'm glad I never invaded iraq. |
