I totally agree, these people need to be stopped they are brainwashing their children to kill other people because we don't agree to their religion. They act almost like Hitler!

since the Biblical times there has been war famine pestilence and death(innocent or not) this will never change. and the cliche' of with out war,we wouldnt know peace is truth.freedom is not passed on in the bloodstream,but by those who defend their way of life at all cost,including war

I agree that the men and women who wage war are willing to give their lives for what they are told to fight for. That's the way it goes, the politicians decide and the fighters die, sometimes war is necessary, and we are lucky there are those willing to volunteer to defend this country

obviously war works the best, otherwise we'd have found some better way by now.

War is unavoidable in some cases. It's whether you agree with the reasons for the war that are important. If you take the stance that there never is a reason for war , you will not be free very long , because someone who does believe in it will become your leader.

I don't agree with war....no sane person would ever agree with war.

But I do agree that war is at times necessary; as both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are currently.

And a quick note to some who might say that I, current or other former military service member are pro war, war mongers, etc....as I have been called. The last person who wants a war is the person who has to go into that war. People who say they are PRO-WAR have never served or been in a combat zone. Just thought for your consideration.

Such a vacuous statement -- agreement could come in the form of supporting the reasons for going to war, or in the desired result, or in accepting what must be done in order to win the war. War is a tricky thing: if fought for the right reasons, such as defending oneself from those who are intent on entirely removing one's rights, war is entirely justified. Certain actions taken through the war may not be, but such a war is just fine by me. Now, a war waged for the express purpose of subjugating another people to one's rule for material or power gain, that's a no-no in my book.

Since it's obvious where this question's going to go anyway, I might as well bite the bullet (that was funny!) and say it. Yes, I am wholly supportive of the Iraq War and the War on Terrorism in general: it is quite evident that the extremists wish to destroy this country, and will stop at nothing to do so. I wholly detest those who wish to take control of the war away from the military and put it into the hands of the politicians; that's why we lost Vietnam.

War is part of life.It determines the survival of the fittest.Freedom is not free ,it was paid for with blood.To maintain freedom you have to be ready to shed blood.You will always have parasites circling to end your freedom.Those that ignore history will perish.The theory of peace is too naive to consider!The meek shall inherit the earth but NOT THE MINERAL RIGHTS!.Love it.....

It doesn't matter if any of us agree. (I do by the way.) I just wish everyone would realize that you don't have to agree with the war to support our men and women that are putting their lives on the line for it. They are there whether they agree or not sacrificing everything, leaving their families and lives at home to help keep this country safe from another tragedy like 9/11 and it seems like most people don't care. Shame on this country! It's like Vietnam all over again!

of course, there always has been and there always will be...when i see a war on the news getting ready to break out, like when the U.S. build up in the persian gulf, my blood starts to get warmer and i get excited...maybe i'm a freak but it really does excite me...i went into the army in '75, just after vietnam, so i missed...i'm sure i'm lucky there...

This Iraq war will end up just like Vietnam. We will not and can not win. 70% of Americans are now against the war so the war will end in defeat for the USA sometime in the next 18 months.

I agree with the war. If we don't take care of it now it's going to haunt the next generation. So the American military has got to take care of Iraq before it ends up getting worse.

I agree with war when it is neccessary and when we prepare ourselves correctly. But we have not done that in this war and it is hurting us and our economy.
