No, I don't think that'll happen. |

No of course not. The US will absolutely never invade China. Really. Never. |

I think war is very likely long term maybe a few decades from now unless there communist structure falls like the russians. I say this because China has major investments in the US and is a huge exporter to the US. If we had bad relationships, China can easily ruin our economy.
All of those tainted items are a short term thing, and has no bearing on a reason for far. CHinese products are good items but they dont last long because we pay so cheap for them and you get what you pay for. THe chinese take exporting there item seriously, because thats there breand and butter, the other day one of the CEO's of the tainted toy company committed suicide in shame of what his company did. You will never see an Enron exec do that. Whats interesting is that is common in China, when a manager makes a serious mistake.
Also, take there military, they are aggresively seeking arms and building up there military. Every year an increasing percentage of there GDP goes to building and supporting the military. So over time which there economic and military strength, and espionage capabilities, they will become more assertive in international issues, and are likely to step on some toes, like the US. |

I hope to hell not!
A ground invasion of China would be insanity.
I can see where your concern came from. But China is having problems with their goods at home too. They actually had to start a TV campaign in China assuring their own people that goods made in China are safe. So this doesn't appear to be intentional sabotage.
But are China, Russia, North Korea, Venezuela and Iran up to no damned good? Absolutely. |

I dont think we will..
for a couple reasons.
1) China and the US are BIG traders.
2) China has more people than the US has bullets.. |

China owns to much of the US for it to happen. During the 90's they went pretty much Door to door and bought up all the US debt.
They could shut the US down finacially if they were so inclined, However with the global economy as intertwined as it is if they did shut the US down it would collape the world market.
That wouldn't be good for China. |

I really don't see any reason for that |

Um, no. We don't have a particularly good reason to, I think. What with all the "Made In China" lables out there, I don't think we'd be wanting to get on their bad side. |

If the Republicans continue in office evenually we will invade everyone, they can wait thier turn |

No reason to invade because they are sending everything they have over here anyway .... |

And do WHAT- with it??? Take away our toys from them? Kill thousands of Chinese for sending us tainted dog food? Bomb them for selling us the cheap stuff we bought in Wal-mart??? ...Let me tell you a SECRET; the Chinese have ALREADY begun to invade US...-And in 20 years, WE will be working for THEM... And all this will happen- without ANYBODY firing a shot! ...So give it time...-Because TIME is on the side of the Chinese... :) |

No-- or at least I certainly hope not. Invading China, in my estimation, would be nightmarish.
Aside from the fact that China believed to have some considerable nuclear deterrents, China's enormous size and enormous population (1,321,851,888 people) would make invasion extremely difficult and would likely overtax our military (even if the draft was reinstated -- and possibly even if every US citizen [all 300,000,000, or so of them} were drafted.)
If China were invaded, US homeland security would likely suffer because of the overtaxing of our military.
Fortunately, (unless the US were to draft everyone and send them to invade China) the enormous size of the US, the US' nuclear armaments, and the second amendment (the right to bear arms) provide strong deterrents to any country wishing to invade it.
I should also note that I foresee a day (soon) where people will fight only with "weapons of healing and mass construction" Weapons, in my vision of our near future, will be devices that heal and do not harm or kill.
I hope and feel that someday the whole world will be invaded in this sense.
Let's hope that I'm right. |

and what??.... Look for weapons of mass production? |

not a chance. first, this war has expended our military, and second, we have ("bigger fish to fry") that we cant take care of because of this presidents incompedence, bad decisions, and personal spite. chinas actions bear no significance relitive to war as much as (just 1 for example) north koreas nuclear program. yeah bush...look there youll probably find those elusive weapons of mass destruction you've been looking for |

No, China is invading us. They have launched a financial war on the US dollar, we owe them lots of money, and China is buying up this country. We are being invaded.
The Bush administration is allowing this invasion because the loans that the Chinese are making to us go to fight the war in Iraq. |

the question should be
"Do you believe the usa will eventually be invaded by China?" |
|

deedee
|
NO! Do you know why? because 90% of materials and clothes comes to US from China. and China has some US promissory notes.... that could make dollar collapse. and lots of people from China live in the US.
so they won't. |

No China is too big and will fight back.
America only picks on small countries, Then gets them fighting amongst themselves and leaves.
They don't want to get into something that may end badly for them. |
